Okay, so we start with Klaus being officially in charge of Marcel's people. Marcel, for his part, is going along with this and happily pledging his allegiance to him. (Turns out, he and Rebekah have decided it's better for their survival to make Klaus think he's on his side). Soon after, one of the vampire questions why Hayley is here. Klaus assures them that he's not going to make hybrids out of the baby's blood. And to prove it, the vampires are free to go kill all the wolves in the Bayou. Without werewolves, he can't make hybrids. Hayley is understandably upset. Those wolves are her family. But, Klaus doesn't seem to care.

Elijah and Rebekah are concerned for Hayley's safety (they don't know that Klaus has put Hayley under his protection) so they storm the compound looking for her. She assures them that she's fine, but her family is not. If they want to help her, please help them. So they head out to the Bayou and find the vampires trashing stuff looking for wolves. Elijah forces them out and they run into Eve who explains that the old werewolves know how to hide from the vampires, but the one who have just arrived, not so much. They head out to look for the new wolves and again run into the vampire pack. Elijah tells them that his baby brother took them on 100 to 1 and won. Do they really wanna try with him? They leaves. But, a werewolf who was left behind is wearing a ring that intrigues Elijah.

Elsewhere, Klaus continues to have Cami take his memoirs. While she's with him, she knows everything (plus that he compels her after she leaves), but once home, she freaks out because there are all these holes in her memory. This time when she leaves, she finds a recorder in her purse that denotes the meeting she just had with Klaus. She's freaked out and calls Kieran. He shows up long after she called and immediately leaves again.

Because Klaus has gotten himself into some trouble. When meeting with the humans to change ownership from Marcel to Klaus, Klaus smart mouths them and tells them they'll take whatever scraps he's willing to give them. So, later (the next day?) the humans attack the vampire bar. They send in fire bombs and start shooting. Several vampires are killed, but Klaus and Marcel are okay. However, they both agree that they humans need to be killed.

So Klaus arranges for them all to get together. He shows up and tells him he should have acted more diplomatically, but he's going to rectify that now. And he and Marcel kill all of them except Kieran. Klaus tells him to get some new leaders and they'll meet again to discuss new terms.

Davina, meanwhile, is told by Hayley that the elder witch is dead. She doesn't believe her because that would mean she would be safe and Marcel would have told her. She claims Hayley is lying because she wants something from her. Hayley does want something (a loophole in the spell Marcel put on the werewolves) but tells her she wouldn't lie to get it; she'd just ask her. Later, Josh pops in and corroborates Hayley's story. Davina is sick that Marcel has been lying to her and asks Josh to take her to Cami's.

When she gets there, she launches into a story about Marcel and what's going on. Cami has no idea who Davina is (Klaus compelled her to forget everything about vampires and leave New Orleans for her own safety). But Davina is not concerned, she just uses her magic to reverse Klaus's compulsion. She does warn Cami that it's going to be painful and it certainly seems to be.

Elijah and Rebekah show up to Klaus and Elijah pulls out that ring from earlier. He reminds Klaus that it's the pack symbol (?) of his father's side. And that his werewolves family is still here. Klaus claims he wants nothing to do with them, as he's already got the two of them as family and it's enough. Elijah claims he's trying to make amends for not believing his interest in the baby was pure, but it doesn't seem like Klaus is ready to hear it.

Klaus heads over to talk to Marcel and tells him that the best way for them to do this is to rule together as peers and equals. Marcel takes him up on it. Then, goes to tell Rebekah that he's all in with Klaus and they can't be sneaking around anymore. She reminds him what Klaus is like. And also that she knows his biggest secret that if Klaus found out he'd hate him forever. (Another wrinkle of intrigue).

Elijah shows up and apologizes to Klaus earnestly about questioning his motives. Klaus forgives him adn tells him that he and Rebekah are welcome to stay at the compound with him. After all, it is their family home.

Ugh. I hate that I don't watch this again for, like, 4 days. I wanna see how this all plays out!
