Ugh. It's not that I want Monte running around kissing young girls, but I was looking for a good, legitimate reason to get rid of her. That said, I still think what she's doing is inappropriate (whether your student is 18 or not). You don't hang out, alone with your students after hours. There is literally no reason for this.
Anyway, it's Jesus and Mariana's birthday. As much as Jesus wants a solo party with just pizza, 5 friends, and skateboarding; he and Mariana are throwing a joint party. But, Nick tells him they can use the warehouse. They can set the downstairs up as a skate party, and Mariana can have a dance club upstairs. This seems very elaborate for a teenage birthday party, but maybe I'm just jealous. Lol.
Jude doesn't plan on coming, as he's got a train ticket to go see Connor for Homecoming weekend. He was very excited about it until Connor sent him a naked (?) photo. Unfortunately, Jesus sees it before Jude does. But either way, it freaks Jude out. He asks Jesus if he's ever had sex and how he learned. And he directs him towards porn. (I kind of went on about porn is not educational during this reaction, so I'll spare you of it here). He tries to watch some, but it freaks him out. And he ends up telling moms that he wants to skip the trip to go to the party.
At school, Monte insists that Sally kissed her and she had no part in it. And she made it clear how inappropriate it was. But after Lena meets with her parents, they insist that Monte get fired. And they insist that Sally not have to discuss the incident with anyone. Besides, we all know that Monte is a self professed bisexual. And Sally has a boyfriend. (Oh, Sally found her dating profile online).
Brandon asks Callie if she could not bring AJ to the party. He thinks it's best if they don't bring significant others around family. I think this will end up being an issue in the long run (unless they do end up getting together), but they both agree to it. However, it's Mariana and Jesus's birthday and Mariana has invited him, so it's not really Callie's place to tell him no.
Before the party, Mariana and Ana meet up with Gabe trying to help him get off the registry. He has to fill out a form and both Ana and her parents need to write letters. Ana has, but we're still unsure if her parents will. Although, Gabe does not seem that excited about it. He asks for time to think about it. I have no idea why he's not jumping at the chance to get off this list. It's destroying his life. Either way, Mariana has to leave to get ready for the party, but Ana decides to hang out and reminisce. And the first thing that happens when Mariana leaves, is that Gabe offers her a beer.
At the party, things are going well in the beginning, if a little awkward between Callie and AJ (as she's trying not to have any contact or PDA with him while Brandon's around). Then Sally shows up. You know, the same Sally who was kissed by Monte and protested against Romeo and Juliet. Brandon is kind of upset, but Mariana makes a bunch of politician-esque reasons why it's important that she be there.
Eventually, the girls are tired of being alone and they entice the skateboarding guys to come up and dance with them, leaving Jesus alone in the skatepark. Callie heads down to talk to him, and he brings up Jude asking him about sex. Callie decides to head up to speak to him. But, then Stef comes down and is talking to Jesus about how the party went the way Mariana wanted and she always gets her way. Stef tells him that Mariana has been trying to get Gabe off the website for him.
But, just then, Mariana comes down and informs us that Ana is here and she's high on something. We hurried upstairs and she's causing a giant scene. Screaming about how Stef and Lena took her children. Yelling and everyone. She can hardly stand up. Stef and Jesus leave to take her home.
Brandon, meanwhile, is about to head out to go home, so he can meet Cort there. Since everyone is at the party, it means they can have the house to themselves.
Callie sits down and talks about sex with Jude. And she also suggests he use porn as a resource. (Again, I'm not going to harp on this). But after the conversation, AJ shows up and they decide to head back to the house, also assuming it's empty.
While they are making out in Callie's bed (after she informed him they wouldn't be having sex), they hear a glass shatter in the kitchen, so Callie heads down to investigate. It's Brandon who has broken a glass. And then Cort shows up. And then AJ. They do quick introductions, but both Callie and Brandon look kind of mortified. He and Cort head back out to the garage, and AJ ends up leaving because he claims whatever she had with Brandon is obviously not over. She looked like she was caught cheating on him.
In the garage, though, things are going better. They both dish about how complicated their lives are (he tells her the Callie story and she tells him she still lives with her ex), but they decide they can both handle the messiness of it all.
And at the end, Jude and Connor FaceTime where Jude asks if Connor wants to have sex. He sort of fumbles a bit, but it seems like he's not really sure how to answer. Jude assures him he did like the photo, but didn't really know what it meant as they never talk anymore. They contemplate whether they should break up.
