Okay, so, the center is pleased with the events of the previous episode (even though I couldn't see them) and Elizabeth and Philip are now tasked with getting close to this Pakistani agent. He's second in command, and they figure he'll be able to give them some good information. So, initially, Elizabeth tries to meet up with him in the lobby of a hotel (they know he likes to have sex with pretty women), but Philip decides, he's too smart to have sex with a random woman.
So, he sets up a scenario where Annalise (who I forgot existed) is going to bump into him at a CIA (?) party. He figures that she'll be deemed safe is she's at this party. However, when Annalise returns she has almost no information. They are here on a top secret mission, but since Yousaf is the second in command, he doesn't actually have any information. Once we relay that back, they are now tasked with killing the guy in charge, so Yousaf will become the number one, and we'll be able to extract information from him.
For some stupid reason, he has no security and can just roam around like he has no enemies. So, Elizabeth follows him to the hotel pool, and kills him making it look like he had a heart attack while swimming. While she's doing that, Philip is listening to Annalise and Yousaf have sex in the next room. It seems like everything is going fine, but when they're finished, she bursts into the room Philip is in and starts losing her mind. She's calling him a pimp and throwing stuff at him. He calms her down the best he can, but she does not seem like a long term player in this game.
Gaad is back. He and Arkady came to an agreement, so all is good there. He seems on. board with Stan's hypothesis that the meeting and the killing of Leanne and Emmett were connected. He figures out that the briefcase had a hidden compartment, and the two of them come to the conclusion that Emmett and Leanne were illegals. Stan asks Nina about it, but she's not helpful. He then meets with their surviving son and ends up showing him pictures of Elizabeth and Philip (in disguises) and asks if he knows them.
I have no idea what's going on with Larrick. Apparently, he faked an emergency, came back and killed a KGB operator. Then he broke (and fixed) the machine. He called someone (no idea who that was), claimed he had the wrong number and happily hung up. I'm guessing he's heading over to that person next. But I have no idea why he's doing this.
Oh, and Paige wants to go to church summer camp. And she's been practicing forging Elizabeth's name. Elizabeth tells her she can't go, and she's pissed about it. This is the most normal thing on this show. And the only thing I feel 100% confident I understned.
