Okay, so we're on Lian Yu, trying to do the last job the Monitor wants from us. Apparently, there is some sort of energy surge on this island, and our job is to harness it by building this weapon. However, we don't have the plutonium we need, so Rene, Dinah, and Roy are flying it over. Oh, Dinah can apparently fly a plane. Who knew?
Unfortunately, as soon as they see the plane, a missile tries to blow it out of the sky. William (I think it was William) has some GPS on it and can see that the plane and the plutonium have landed on different parts of the island. Oliver and Laurel head to look for the plutonium, and John, Lyla, and Connor head over to check on the people.
Dinah is fine, Rene is pretty badly injured (and Lyla just brings him right back to camp), and poor Roy is pinned under part of the plane. And it's super heavy and they cannot get it off his arm. How do we make this problem bigger? We're running out of time. All the dead people who died are this island are back to life (from these energy surges) and are here to attack us. With no time or resources, we decide the best thing to do is amputate Roy's arm. I love Roy. So, I might be a little biased, but I think he dealt with it (and his feelings in the aftermath) really well.
Anyway, Laurel has the plutonium and brings it back, but Oliver is too busy fighting everyone. Eventually, he runs into Yao Fei and they get trapped in nets. Shortly after this, Oliver is back at the campsite, and William is working on the weapon. However, the dead guys are all ready to attack, so they need to hold them off so he can finish. But, once it's ready, we realize we need Oliver's DNA to turn it on, so he comes in, but nothing happens. Then, William changes his mind and says we need Lyla's DNA. She picks it up, all the enemies disappear, and so does she; through a portal.
So, we've completed the last job. Now we just wait for further instructions. Before she disappeared, Lyla had arranged a boat to get them out. While they wait for it, Oliver has nice conversations with everyone. I particularly enjoyed the ones with Roy (no surprise there, coming from the Roy whore) and Mia.
After the conversation with Mia, the sky starts turning red and weird lightening shows up. And so does Lyla, who claims she is no longer Lyla. Now she's a harbinger of information (or something like that). She informs us that the Crisis has begun.
Ah, you guys. It's just crossovers and then I think one more episode and then Arrow is over. I'm so sad.
