2022-07-09 06:32:46 +0000 UTCYou spot what make this show a stand out one, the quality of the writing, the depth into the characters personality and emotions and how can create a real emotional bond with the audience, that is something very rare. With TVD you don't just sit and watch passivelly, you are drown in and feel, what they feel and care about the characters. Because of the quality of the writing, that to me is up there in my personal top 3 show of all time, it is standing the test of time. During pandemic the show was streamed 14 billion times and it's seventeen in the IMDB list of the most watched show of all time, The more you'll progress with the episodes the better it gets, the deeper it goes, the more you'll understand why the characters act and react the way they do, especially the brothers. Like Damon doesn't lie, doesn't like to be emotionally disonest, even if is incovenient, like the crappy apology to Mason. He was forced to give an apology so he finded a way to apologise without doing it. There is a specific important reason for it, when we will get there it will be clear. There is nothing in thsi show that isn't explained, no loose ends and the characters motivations and actions are consistent with their psycological profile and to what happen to them, in their life. I've never seen such care and respect for the audience intelligence like in this show, If you thought this episode was good I can't wait for you to watch the next episodes, they are so fantastic.

Jeremy never unloved Anna, she died, so he never had a real closure, but Bonnie has all reasons to be pissest with him and not want to listen to anything he has to say, you have respect yourself first, as per Elena. She doesn't give up on Stefan becuase she is compassionate, and she is not the type of person that would give up on Stefan that is in a bad situation, but at the same time you cannot be hold back by the past and she is well aware. I agree she is way more tough and mature than any average 18 years old girl, I like Elena too.

So yes if Stefan wanted to he could turn it on, the problem is motivation, why a remorsless, no pain, no consequence vampire would want to feel again?
