Mortuary School: So Glamorous, So SCANDALOUS

Hello Deathlings!

OK, I don't know if anybody ever said mortuary school was GLAMOROUS (sorry to burst that bubble), but sadly in the case of the American Academy McAllister Institute (AAMI) AKA the HARVARD OF MORTUARY SCHOOLS, scandal is their middle name. 

I've been wanting to talk about the situation with McAllister for a while. Yes, the scandal and fallout from it is disturbing and impacts a lot of people who maybe didn't deserve to be punished so harshly, but it's also a strong indicator of how the whole PASS THIS STANDARDIZED TEST AND NOW I DUB THEE FUNERAL LEARNED system has missed the mark. 

Thoughts? Just me?

I don't want to dissuade any of you mortuary school students or future mortuary school students from pursuing your funeral director dreams, but knowing about the bureaucracy and various flaming hoops you have to jump through is so important. 

Oh, and if the president of your educational institution is all like, "My VISIONS tell me the answers are A, A, C, B, D..." maaaaaaaybe consider extricating yourself from THAT hot mess.
