(Don't) Fear the Bleeding Dead

Hello Deathlings! 

I'm coming at you from my home in LA, fresh off a work trip to BEA-U-TI-FUL Brazil. To all the deathlings who were like, "Come to Brazil! Come to Brazil! WHY WON'T YOU COME TO BRAZIL?!", fine, yes, you were right. Brazil is wonderful and I wasn't ready to leave. 

And while I am jet lagged and wish I was still basking in the Rio de Janeiro sun (I was also in São Paulo...the sun is pretty fantastic there too), I am happy to present you with this video about blood and teeth.

I think I've said before that these "old school" Ask a Mortician videos are fun for me to do from time to time. Just straight up myth busting and question answering. Delicious. 

Plus when we're researching these videos, I always learn something new and bizarre. Something to bring up at cocktail parties. 

For example, I knew that drinking a lot of human blood isn't good for well, HUMANS, but I didn't realize how little it took to potentially give a person iron poisoning – we're only talking more than a few teaspoons! 

Honestly, handling blood doesn't make me squeamish, but the thought of chugging down some fresh Type O-positive (or A or B or what have you – we're not discriminating against blood types here) REALLY turns my stomach. 

Blood drinking aside (<-- expert transition), if you like it when we kick it old school AAM-style, boy-oh-boy, have we got a July for you!
