I'm so excited that we finally got to do a video like this one. Every time Louise and I bounce around ideas for women Iconic Corpses, we find ourselves mired in the Swamp of Sadness.

It shouldn't come as any great shock that throughout history women and their corpses haven't been treated all that great. But when you have to do a deep dive on such abuse again and again it can really wear you down. Or fill you with rage.
So while the stories of this week's Iconic Corpses aren't exactly cheerful, there is an inspiring quality to them. These were powerful women whose legacies live on in their heroics, not their victimhood.
