Wow. I so was not expecting that from Mahone. It actually makes a lot of sense though, if you think about it. Half the people on this damn show are just trying to get out from under the Company's thumb.
So, Michael shows up at the hotel where Pocket Boy is and immediately notices that he's got (what he thinks are) FBI agents watching him. Just to make sure, he pays a kid to set off some fireworks, and when they hear what they think are gunshots, they reach for their ankle holsters. Michael walks away and runs immediately into Sucre. Who is closely followed by Bellick holding them at gunpoint.
He demands that Michael help him get the 5 million dollars. He says no, but then Sucre explains that Bellick's got Maricruz and won't give her back til he gets the money, so Michael agrees. (Even though he's really in this just to get Pocket Boy back in jail). Oh, and Michael and Sucre discover that it wasn't Sucre Michael was talking to on the message board.
Michael's big plan is the pull the fire alarm at the hotel. When everyone leaves, the agents follow T Bag, the trio follow them, and then Mahone follows them. At least until Lincoln ends up attacking him. The two of them end up in their own little side quest.
Pocket Boy enters a building, but Michael and Sucre end up getting the agents into an alley and tying them up so they can go after T Bag. Once they get inside the building, they find out that they've been set up to take the fall for a dead girl that's in the closet, while Pocket Boy takes off with the cash. Bellick ends up getting shot, but tells Michael to follow him and get the money. The police end up arresting (probably) Bellick.
Sucre fetches a car and they decide to drive Pocket Boy to the embassy and drop him off. But, while in the car, he ends up stabbing Sucre and attempting to attack Michael, who ends up crashing the car. T Bag hops out, grabs the money and runs. Thankfully, a passerby helps out Sucre while Michael goes after T Bag. They meet in a cabin and fight basically to the death. And Michael leaves him pinned on the floor with a knife through his arm.
Michael takes the money and heads back to the boat where he starts calling hospitals looking for Sucre. But, Lincoln calls him first. Turns out, Mahone's got him handcuffed and wants to make a trade. Lincoln's life for the money, the boat, and whatever plan Michael's got to disappear.
Also, Sara is on trial. She's going to take a plea that will get her 12 years, with good behavior, she'll be out in 9. And, just before she's about to go in front of the judge to accept, Kellerman shows up in the courtroom ready to corroborate her entire story. I had no idea how she was gonna get out of this. And she still might not, but I guess a failed suicide attempt really changes a man.
