High School Musical: The Musical: The Series 2X4: The Storm

Finally. I really hope this sticks and Nini is home for good now. I just don't think this was the right place for her. But I hate that they are talking about her giving up her dream. She's, like, 16. There is so much time left for this dream to happen. Just because we don't stay at YAC, doesn't mean our dream is over.

So, Nini has to head back to school, and Ricky is pretty sad about it. They didn't get nearly as much time together as they wanted. But, Nini ends up dropping by the our rehearsal to say goodbye to everyone before she leaves. However, in the interim, a huge storm has blown through and Nini's driver ends up canceling her trip to the bus station.

She runs into E.J. (who wasn't at rehearsal) and finds out that he didn't get into Duke, which both he, and his father were counting on. Robotics teacher overhears and tells him he got rejected from Caltech four a half times. It will end up being okay in the end.

Jenn offers to take Nini to the bus station, and tells everyone to keep brainstorming for the Be Our Guest number. Unfortunately, on the way, Jenn's car breaks down. While they are waiting for the tow truck, she asks Nini about YAC and Nini doesn't have that much to say about it. She tries to be diplomatic, but it's obvious she's unhappy. She asks Jenn when she knew it was time to give up her Broadway dream. And it was basically when she found a new one- teaching.

But, Nini still plans to go and Jenn drops her off at the bus station. Ricky shows up and wants to asks her to stay, but he doesn't. So they do another round of good byes and Nini, unhappily, gets on the bus. But it's not much longer before she's back at the school telling Miss Jenn that she just couldn't do it. She's so much happier here. She calls Ricky who finally confesses that he wants her to stay and (presumably) she's heads over to his house.

Also, Carlos and Gina fight about who is the actual choreographer. In the end, they come to some understanding, but I don't really know what. I think Gina's idea sounded really good though.

Plus, we end up losing power, and are stranded, but the pizza guy can still deliver. And as soon has the storm is over the roads are cleared. Ah, TV.
