All I want is for Ian to be happy. And it seems like Rachel is good at that. So, I'm on board for this marriage. I do not understand the wedding at all, but who cares. Not my wedding.
So, Ian and Rachel get married. All good. They have a lovely wedding night as well. Happy, happy, happy. "I like it when thee moans?" Come on. That was adorable.
It was so easy to forget that both Jamie and Ian are heading off to war. It seems obvious that Claire will go along as well. That's what she does. And we can never have too many doctors while at war, but is Rachel coming as well? I mean, I feel like she and Denzell could certainly to useful. Just something to think about.
Unfortunately, we did get some Roger and. Brianna stuff this episode, which is always a bit of a disappointment. I'd love to just stay in Jamie's timeline. All the best stuff happens there anyway. But, regardless, Roger in his timeline manages to find his dad (although, he never really tells him that he's his dad) and send him back through the stones. I have no idea what that means. In his own timeline he disappeared during war. Now he's what, just gonna show back up? I've very confused on this timeline.
Back in the 80s, Brianna has got Rob locked up in a pantry while she and Mandy drive all over trying to find Jemmy. Thankfully, Mandy has that magic that lets her 'feel' him, so they just drive until they find him. He seems fine, but the cops are being assholes about it. Because, of course, when they get back to the house, he's managed to escape. But seriously, we do not need this storyline. If you cut it completely, we would lose nothing, and have more time for the stories that matter.
I'm not entirely sure what's going on with John right now. It looks like he's been picked up by the army. He claims he's one of them and they just believe him. I don't know. I mean, I'm with Jamie in that I certainly don't want anything bad to happen to him. But what happens if they find out he's actually British soldier? Like the poor man doesn't have enough problems right now.
