High School Musical: The Musical: The Series 1X6: What Team?
Added 2025-03-07 17:00:18 +0000 UTCOkay, so I was sort of on board with Miss Jenn not being allowed to teach without a teaching certificate. I think it's silly for drama, but it's probably the law. I just assumed they could make her an 'advisor' or something. But then it turns out she does have one, but they don't like that it didn't come from a well known school. Screw that.
Anyway, Miss Jenn is suspended until the school board hearing and Carlos tries to keep things going in her absence, but he's constantly being under-minded. Eventually, he snaps and tells them the truth, Miss Jenn is in serious trouble and he doesn't know if she's coming back. They decide to suspend rehearsals for the time being.
The drama club ends up at Red Head's to discuss what to do. They all decide that they are going to fight to save Miss Jenn's job.
At the hearing, Ricky's dad stands up first to talk about what a positive impact the drama club has had on Ricky and he knows it's because Miss Jenn cares so much. Then, the kids all break out into a choreographed dance number while singing about how great Miss Jenn is and why they need her. And this gets them to change their mind. This is so very beyond far fetched, but we're watching a Disney show mockumentary about teenagers, so I'll let it slide. Lol.
Oh, and during all this, Ricky is playing some song for Gina on a guitar. Nini hears it and wanders over looking pretty enamored, but then she sees that he is singing to Gina and slinks away. I'm thinking she wants him back. But, I'm also thinking, he's liking Gina. So far, I mostly ship Nini with Kourtney. I love Kourtney.
