Sons of Anarchy 5X10: Crucifixed

Okay so, the first thing we get it the police pulling Juice, which Jax sees, as he's been tailing him. But, for all the bluster Juice has when he pulled into the office, it basically dies when Eli tells him that Jax knows he's the rat. He suggests that Juice get out of town. But instead, he goes to see Jax. Jax, for her part acts like nothing is amiss, but Juice caves immediately telling him he knows that Jax knows. They discuss the situation and Jax offers him a penance, find the documents from Clay's safe. Juice agrees, but seems very nervous about it.

Later, when Jax is checking up on it, Juice says he hasn't found anything yet. (And it's true, he's looking). Jax tells him the clock is ticking and if he doesn't find anything, he goes out the way Clay will.

Tara goes back to see Otto, convinced that she can get him to revert. Once there, he asks her to bring a crucifix (the uglies, biggest, gaudiest crucifix you've ever seen) that he had given LuAnn. She agrees. When she bring it back, he asks her to put in on him and leave him alone so he can pray. Seeing no real harm in this (as he's strapped down) she agrees. However, as soon as she leaves the room, he hits the buzzer for the nurse. She comes in and after some back and forth, decide to transfer him out. As soon as they unstrap him, he lunges up up to knock out the guard, then bashes the nurse's head against the way and stabs her in the neck with the crucifix repeatedly killing her. Tara is horrified and begging him to stop.

Turns out that this was a plan by Otto all along. It does get his testimony thrown out, no one will trust a rat who killed a nurse, so the RICO case should be dead. However, it also makes Tara an accessory to murder. Jax promises that nothing will happen to her and they'll get through it, but I cannot see how.

While all this is going on Jax and Co are trying to kill the guy who kill Opie in prison, as he just got out. Turns out, he's being protected by T.O. and the Grim Bastards. Bobby thinks the solution is easy, they'll just pay the Bastards instead. But, it turns out the guy is actually T.O.'s cousin. Either way, we run around and try to find him. Eventually we do. We promise T.O. that all we want out of him is information. We'll beat him up, but we won't kill him. However, after we get the info, Chibs puts a bullet in the back of his head.

Back at the clubhouse, Bobby is upset. The Grim Bastards have a good long standing relationship with the MC that Jax just destroyed. He counters that maybe it was a mistake, but Bobby didn't see the glee the man took in killing Opie; he and Chibs did. Bobby heads inside, and Jax double checks that he and Chibs are on the same page, and all looks good there.

I'm not 100% sure what's going on with Clay and the cartel right now. But I know it's bad for Jax if things go Clay's way. It has to.

And it seems like Gemma is taking Jax up on his offer. She stops by with groceries for Clay. While she's putting them away, he comes up behind her and they embrace. They are about to kiss, and she's like, let's just wait and do this at home. Once they are home he is confused about how she could possibly forgive him, and makes her promise she actually wants this, because he cannot lose her twice. She assures him by kissing him.
