Ha. I knew it was too out of character for Sucre to just steal all that money. Also, I want all the backstory on Mahone. I feel like The Company probably has something over him, but I don't know what exactly. Plus, his job right now is to kill all the escaped convicts?
So he and Michael had planned for Sucre to hold them up for the money. Then, the two of them meet up later and split the money between the two of them, Lincoln, and Westmoreland's daughter. Unfortunately, Pocket Boy had other ideas and switched the bags so when Sucre opens it it's full of magazines.
Michael knows immediately that it was Pocket Boy, but right now, we just need to get away. Sucre shot a gun while he was pretending to rob them all and it brought the cops sooner than they'd planned. Thankfully, Michael swiped a police radio on his way out of the house, so they can keep tabs on where the cops are.
But, as they are walking across a tree log, it breaks, causing him to get pinned partially underwater. Thankfully, Michael is familiar with dams and the one they are near is about to open, meaning the water levels will rise, and the tree will float off of Sucre. However, the water is drowning Sucre before it gets the tree off. Plus, the cops are getting closer and closer. In a last ditch effort, Michael ties a rope to the motorcycle and around the tree hoping to move it as much as possible, and drives straight into the water. And it works! Sucre disappears under the water for a bit, but then pops up and is fine. The cops are right on top of them though, so they high tail it out of there.
Michael buys a car while Sucre calls his cousin and finds that that Maricruz didn't go through with the wedding, so they buy another car so he can go get his girl.
Pocket Boy seems like he's on his way to his ex's house, the one who got him up in jail. But I've been burned so many times in this show for thinking they were alluding to something that don't even feel confident saying he's going there. Lol. Also, Bellick and Geary are finally free. And they realize that they are still not caught and Pocket Boy was just nearby, so they are back on the case.
Sarah is realizing there is no one she can trust except Michael right now. Everyone seems to work for this damn Company. Right after she told the only person she really trusts where she is, a girl who was in that spot was murdered because it thought it was her. She starts pulling out Michael's swans and trying to decipher them. However, the FBI has some of the too. If I understand correctly, the FBI has: rendezvous and the place; while Sara has: rendezvous and the time. They are each missing a piece.
And then we find out that Mahone is working for The Company (who isn't, at this point?) and what The Company is asking of him is to kill all of the 8 escapees. He tries to ask why, but you don't really get to do that. Is it possible that I've been too hard on him? Is he getting just as fucked over as everyone else here?
