Flashpoint 1x2 Reaction

Comments

First in Line- Thank you so much for a fbulous reaction for this second episode of Flashpoint, Clint! This episode is absolutely so much better than the Pilot episode. Though the Pilot is good, this episode is so much better. I absolutely feel so badly for the father of the little girl waiting for a heart. The circumstances surrounding this event is so tragic, and you really feel for hima nd for his little girl. And I cried. I confess, I did. Every time I've watched this episode, I cry. It's just so sad, yet it comes with a bittersweet ending. The father winds up in prison, for however long he will be there in spite of him being desperate enough to break, but his daughter lives thanks to the good hearted man also waiting in line for the heart that was meant for him. And it's so beautiful that he made this sacrifice for the sake of the little girl and her father, whom you could see he felt for. I can only hope that a new heart would come along in time to save him too, had this episode continued a little longer to see how both he and the little girl fare. I am very happy to see someone request another show with the actor who plays Carl Elias in Person of Interest!! Enrico Colantoni is a phenomenal actor I really love very much. Both here in Flashpoint, and especially in Person of Interest as Elias. And yes... while it is strange to see this actor play such a good man that you also really feel for and love throughout this episode, I absolutely love Sergeant Greg Parker almost as much as I love seeing him play crime boss, Carl Elias. Elias is a character who I feel is both bad and good... a character who is incredibly complicated in the best sense, What a brilliant actor Enrico Colantoni is for being able to play two such vastly different, yet brilliant characters I love. :) Thank you very much for this reaction, Clint! I completely understand why this episode nearly broke you down enough to cry, as other shows nearly do to you too upon watching the episodes and movies that just pull on your heartstrings thanks to the focus being on the innocent girls upon you having a daughter of your own. Boys too. Until your next reaction for Flashpoint should this patron continue to request this show for you... Sincerely, Heidi
