Shameless 10X12: Gallavich!

I honestly don't know if I really liked this episode, or I was just so happy it focused on Ian and Mickey (and wasn't nearly as bad as the last few episodes) that it seems like I liked it. 🤷‍♀️

So we've got an Ian and Mickey wedding! And Terry burns down the goddamned venue the morning of. Because, of course he does. This leads to a scramble to find a place to hold the wedding. Everyone, except Mickey (who is too busy being pissed at his dad) is calling every venue they can find that holds 120 people.

They eventually find some Polish place, but they are well known for being homophobic. So, they pretend that Debbie is getting married to Mickey, and use her as a distraction to keep the boss away while the boys get married.

Tami does actually come to the wedding, even though she hasn't spoken to Lip in several days and left him a note telling him to go fuck himself. She also leaves him the key to the RV. Anyway, at the wedding, they sort of have it out about where they're gonna live and what there's gonna do. Tami tells him she and Fred are moving to Wisconsin, if Lip wants to come great, if not, see you when we see you. Lip tells her she can't just take his son, but she says she'll take him to court and leaves with Fred. Lip goes back inside and orders a Coke. But, when the bartender suggests adding rum, he agrees. Then has another.

Meanwhile, Julia has shown up at the wedding. She's decided she's moving in with Debbie (and no amount of Debbie tells her to fuck off seems to get her to leave). When her mom calls to try to get her to come home, she tells her no, she moved in with Debbie and is busy having sex with her (she's not). But, at the wedding, she and Carl end up hooking up.

Right after the wedding, Lip walks to Brad's and tells him he needs to find a meeting. Brad agrees to go with him. But, Tami is there and sees. The next day, she shows up at the house Lip rented and helps him renovate it. I guess him breaking his sobriety after she threatened to leave him showed her that he loved her? I don't know. I don't really want these two together. I'd be happy if they broke up over the hiatus.

The next morning, the cops show up at the Gallagher household. I was wracking my brain trying to figure out who did what. Turns out Debbie is wanted for statutory rape. She runs and cops chase her. Carl then turns to Julia to find out how old she is (he just slept with her too). And then we get Ian and Mickey waking up in a honeymoon suite. Just as they are about to have sex, Terry starts shooting at them through the window. It was very entertaining.
