Sons of Anarchy 4X11: Call of Duty

I cannot believe that Otto is gonna turn. I'm shocked. I really, truly didn't think, after all this time. Maybe he's playing some kind of long game that I don't know yet?

So Wendy is back. I didn't think we were ever gonna see her again. Honestly, I kind of forgot she existed. But she's back and sober and wants into Abel's life. She drops by to see Tara in the hospital and when she leaves, Tara is so pissed she smashes the hell out of her hand and needs to go back into surgery.

And, speaking of hand surgery, we find out that the hospital in Oregon still wants her. They're willing to wait out her recovery. Gemma finds all this out vis Margaret, who (alongs with everyone else this episode) is horrified by what Clay has done to her face. And she begs Gemma to just let Tara and Jax leave.

Gemma goes and talks to Jax about it and he admits the truth. He's leaving Charming with Tara and the kids. It sort of seems like Gemma gets it and might not try to keep him here. We'll see.

Jax asks Clay what happened with Gemma since she told Jax to stay out of it. And Clay basically tells him the same thing. He tells Jax he needs to keep his head in the game right now and stay focused. Jax promises he is, but also promises that they aren't done with this.

Anyway, we're all revved up (minus Opie, Bobby, and Tig) and ready to go hit the Lobos cartel. Unfortunately, when we get there, we find out they are surrounded by fucking landmines. The guy whose name I can never remember (the one Tig wouldn't patch in) ends up getting exploded. Some of the guys (Juice and Clay included) are stuck due to the aforementioned landmines, and we don't have enough firepower to free them.

So we end up sending out for the Irish weapons. And now we've got like grenade launchers and rocket launchers and who the hell knows what else. But it's enough to wipe out pretty much all of the cartel. However, the guys are still stuck with the landmines. Juice, however is all like, if I explode, I explode, and basically just runs back proving that particular way is clear. Afterwards, Chibs has a talk with him and Juice breaks down and tells him that Eli threaten to out him as having a Black father and this is why everything has been happening. Chibs assures him that all the club cares about is what's on his birth certificate (which says he Hispanic) and all seems fine. But, then, Juice gets a call from Eli and it seems like maybe he's still working for him?

Meanwhile, we've got Opie, Bobby, and Tig trying to figure out what happened with the Asian money for Charming Heights. Turns out, the investors never pulled out like they were supposed to, so now it's a go. Previously, Clay that told him they could kill him if he couldn't fix this issue. So, Bobby tells him he'll spare him if he tells the truth about LuAnn. And he does. He said he sent some guys to rough her up, but things just got out of hand. Afterwards, Opie and Tig kill him.

Back in prison, Otto tells Potter that he'll turn, but he wants some very specific things. Extra yard time for Lenny, better eyeglasses, his execution date moved up, money sent to LuAnn's sisters, and he wants to tell Bobby in person that he was turning on the club. I still feel like I'm being tricked, somehow.

Later, when Tig finally sees Gemma after Clay's beat down, he approaches Clay and hands over his sergeant-in-arms patch. He claims the club was not meant to be like this. I have no idea if this is just him stepping down from being Clay's right hand man (I think so, since he kept the kutte and the other patches). This actually seems to really affect Clay. I mean, I think it's too late for me to care about Clay reversing course here (even if he does, it's over for me and Clay), but he's definitely thinking something here.

And finally, Opie heads up to the cabin and finds Piney. Unser knew he was going and followed him. Once he was sure Opie wasn't going to shoot him, he told him Clay did it. Also that Clay was responsible for Donna (even though he was trying to kill Opie), and he beat the hell out of Gemma. I mean, I know he's trying to get someone to kill Clay, but I think at this point, half the club wants him dead, so I don't think it will be hard.
