True Blood 4X10: Burning Down the House

So, this is my favorite season, I think. But I think this my least favorite episode of the season. Sigh.

That said, some good things happened in this episode. Tommy died. I was so not a fan of Tommy's. Every time he showed up I was annoyed. Plus, Terry finally confronted Andy about his V usage. I hate this storyline with Andy, so I'm hoping this episode takes care of that.

I'm also not really into the Jesus/Lafayette storyline right now. I like them both. I like them as a couple. I just don't care about all this magic stuff between them.

So, once Sookie finds out Bill is planning to blow up the magic shop (with Tara inside) she loses her shit, and asks Jason to help her stop him. the two of them, plus Jesus and Lafayette stake out the shop, with Sookie listening in. Tara and Holly work to bring down the protection barrier. When they finally do, They all rush outside, but Antonia catches on and magically makes them all disappear. No idea where they are planning to end up.

Right at that moment, Bill, Eric, Pam, and Jessica show up to blow up the shop. They get out of the van is awesome villain fashion, but the episode ends there, which is a real bummer. But is this not a superhero shot?

In other news, in the beginning, when Antonia breaks the spell (you know, after Sookie using lightening power against Eric to keep him from killing Bill), Eric remembers his whole life. He and Sookie struggle with what that means. Eric claims he's still the same and nothing has changed, but she feels like it has. (And I agree. I loved broken Eric, but this Eric is demonstrably different).

However, Sookie claims she loves both Eric and Bill, and blames it on the fact that they've both fed her their blood. I have no idea if we're getting a threesome between them. I certainly wouldn't be opposed. I'm just saying. (I'm sure there is a crazy amount of fanfic for that now that I'm thinking about it, but I won't read it).

I don't know if this is unpopular, but I feel like Tara has sort of been an afterthought this season. Sure, she's had stuff to do, but it was sort of all in service of other stuff. (Yes, she had a girlfriend-whose name I forgot-but it felt like a very small part of her plot). I'm hoping we can get some more Tara as we come up on the season finale. I feel like she'll have to be pivotal, but fingers crossed!
