9-1-1 8X3: Final Approach

Okay, so there isn't really a ton to say about this episode.

Athena gets ready to land the plane. But, just as she's settling in, the rudder breaks off meaning we can no longer turn the plane. And of course, non of the airports that are near us have runways facing the proper direction.

But, Bobby is on the case! Maddie manages to get his call through to one of the passengers and he clears off the 110 so the plane can land on the freeway. The flight instructor is talking her and Jem through all this, but it's still incredibly nerve wracking.

Eventually, we land roughly, but we land, coming to stop, like six inches from Bobby. Everyone is escorted out via emergency exit, but Athena stays behind to continue CPR on the co-pilot. She sends Dennis out to get Bobby. Hen comes and she and Chim get the co-pilot out safely, and Bobby takes Athena.

Once they are on the ground, some guy comes looking for Athena and Dennis, so Athena contacts her sergeant. Athena and Dennis hide from him with the help of Bobby and then head off to get Dennis' cellmate's little black book. (Yeah, I forgot about all that too 😳).

They find it, but then they are attacked by a guy who's in the book and desperate to get to it first. He shoots at Bobby when Athena won't give it up, and Dennis jumps in front of Bobby, saving him. Dennis shanks the detective allowing Bobby to overpower him and Athena to cuff him.

Later, Athena tells him she has his blessing to take the deal and reunites him with his family.

Also, fucking Gerard is back, and is treating everyone like trash. Expect Buck, who he claims saved his life. 🤣
