Shameless 10X5: Sparky

Okay, at this point, I just want it to be the Ian and Lip show. We can ditch pretty much everyone else.

So, Ian is out of jail. Huzzah! But it's sort of a bittersweet homecoming for him. When he gets to the house, the only people there are Anne's family (who don't speak English) and Tami (who is losing her mind trying to figure out how to feed Freddie). It's really sad. He's just wandering around the house looking for anyone he actually knows.

He goes to meet with his PO and she's hot a bag of crazy. She gets him a job on some ambulance, but they aren't actually helping anyone. They are just using fake people to get drugs to people and billing for them (I think). Ian tries to quit but finds out that things will get worse if he does. His probation is 2 years, so it's best if he just sticks it out.

Lip is busy trying to deal with the fact that Tami isn't the greatest mom right now. Although, to be fair, she really is trying. Eventually, Lip (knowing Freddie hasn't eaten all day) recruits Sara to go over and help her. Tami is pissed, but also sort of grateful that Freddie is finally actually eating.

Debbie is obsessed with serving Pepa so she can lay claim to some of Derek's death benefits. But, it turns out, the 'lawyer' she's been working with isn't actually a lawyer. And Pepa shows up to the meeting with a bunch of army lawyers. She tells Debbie Franny can have a third of the benefit, but she wants full custody of Franny. Debbie is acting like this is a done deal. Don't take the money, keep Franny. Problem solved.

Kevin is upset that he didn't get molested like the rest of his middle school basketball team. Sure. Why not.

And Ingrid's ex shows up with the babies. Turns out she left him and he doesn't want to raise them himself so he's trying to give them back to Frank. Frank doesn't want them and tells him they aren't his, they are Carl's. So, Carl finally finds out they are his. However, Frank than decides he can sell the babies to couples who can't adopt. And Carl wants in on it since it was his sperm.

This show is getting ridiculous.
