Tell Me Lies 1X10: The Bedrooms of Our Friends

So, we finally get to see what happened the night Macy died first hand. And I was fucking right! I thought that slimy fucker was driver and popped Macy over the driver's seat after the crash. Now, that said, I think her blood on the passenger's side windshield where she cracked her head (and I assume what killed her) should have people asking questions, but here we are.

Dude, why are all these girls obsessed with Stephen? He's not even that attractive. But, we find out Macy is yet another girl who was desperate to be with him. She's got very similar energy to Lucy when she and Stephen first started up. After calling him to the party she's at alone (you remember, because Lucy didn't want to go) they end up having sex in the car and then he asks her to take him home. She thinks she's to drunk, so offers to drive, even though he's drank more than she did.

After that, the events unfold like we've been told. A car comes right at them, the swerve, and hit a tree. However, it's Stephen who is driving, and not Macy. Her seatbelt was working so she went without, and smacked her head on the windshield. He spends about two minutes freaking out and then drags Macy over the driver's seat to make it look like she was driving. He deletes her texts of them that evening and heads out. I suspicious of him deleting the texts. It feels like he's done this before. I don't think it would ever occur to me to do that.

Back in the present, Lucy offers Stephen a summer job working the front desk at a country club. He decides this is beneath him and they argue about it. She tells him he's lucky she doesn't say anything about what he did, and he jumps down her throat about it. She immediately apologizes and they make up, promising to stop trying to hurt each other.

There's a Hawaiian themed party that night and Lucy and Stephen are going. At the party, Pippa is alone and asks Stephen to talk to Wrigley about not hating her, but he refuses. She decides to spend some time with Pippa, while Stephan ends up smoking with Evan and Diana.

Eventually, it's just Stephan and Diana smoking and they start talking. Diana is trying to understand why he'd end up with someone like Lucy. He's not being ambitious or take charge with her. He's letting his life slip away. She tells him that she can get him a job at her father's law firm for the summer. And when he asks why she'd do that, she tells him because she loves him.

They emerge from the room and walk down the steps hand in hand, seemingly, back together. Stephen says nothing to Lucy, but Diana gives her a look that says, 'I won, bitch.'

Lucy is upset and crying when Evan comes to comfort her. They get drunk and wake up naked in her bed. I can only assume they've had sex, which pisses me off. Bree was just so excited to meet his parents! I thought that was going well! I mean, I know he liked Lucy first, but haven't we moved on?éWe end back in the actual present day, at Bree and Evan's wedding. Lucy sees Stephen and he comes over to say hello. It's seems like he's done well for himself and is waiting for his fiancé. No, it's not Diana. It's fucking Lydia. What the fuck. How did we get here? I so need this story.

This season was so much fun. I was so rooting for the crazy amounts of drama. I'm really looking forward to S2. I hope it's just as delightful.
