Um, I don't really know what to say about this. The Russian mob has Nathan? Had you given me 100 guesses, this would not have been one of them. Although, I don't think I could have come up with, like, more than 10 people, and that would have been a stretch. Lol.
So, let's just skip over Chris and Chase. Yes, Chase is sleeping with Chris' girlfriend. No, I still don't care. There are too many actual important things going on right now.
First off, Nathan has been kidnapped and is being held by some Russians who are planning to kill him because he signed a basketball player to their agency. Apparently, basketball gambling is big over there and by taking their best player, he's costing a lot of people a lot of money, so they are going to kill him. Nathan thinks he's found a loophole by telling them he's basically rich and can pay them a lot of money to let him go. And it looks like they are going to go for it, but it turns out, they are going to take his money and then give him to the people who want him dead. But he get a small stay of execution, so that's good, right?
Haley is understandably incredibly upset and still blaming Dan. (Hell, I know Dan didn't do it, and I'm still blaming him). He shows up at the house claiming he just wants to help find Nathan, but Haley kicks him out. Huzzah! So, he heads over to Julian's soundstage and asks to rent one of the trailers for $3000/month. Julian allows this and when he realizes he's trying to find Nathan, offers to help. After their quick little outing, Dan sends him home to be with his family. And it seemed to have worked, as Julian and Brooke seem to have reconciled. (Not that they were actually fighting, fighting, but you know).
Mouth is busy doing his own research into where Nathan might have ended up, and it seems like he's on to something. He brings the info he finds to Haley, and Quinn suggests he bring it to Dan. It seems like Nathan ended up 'off the beaten path' looking for players and Mouth knows where to send Dan.
Meanwhile, Clay is dissociating again. He walks out of the clinic and has no idea what's going on. He leaves all his stuff on the road, and when Quinn finds him, he claims not to know who she is. Thankfully, he's not far and she's able to get him back to the doctor. But he really needs some help. My god. And when he's talking to the doctor he's totally downplaying all the trauma that he's dealt with. Honey, you're in Tree Hill now. Trauma is the norm. But we still need to work through it!
Honestly, I'm concerned that Dan is gonna be the one to end up saving Nathan. And I don't know how I feel about that. I want Nathan to be saved, don't get me wrong, but I don't want Dan doing it. Then I have to decide if he's worthy of redemption or not. And if Nathan and Haley forgive him, I'm going to feel compelled to as well. Grrrr.
