So, the best part of this episode was EASILY the Ian and Mickey stuff. I'd love if they were back in every episode. I don't know if it's because we haven't seen much of them, or they just really were that good, but it was such a highlight of this episode.
So, they are in jail, and totally annoyed with each other. They've been inhabiting the same tiny space for too long. And they just need a break. So when Ian is approached by a guy in the medical unit to stab him so he doesn't have to go home (which will get Ian put in isolation), he agrees. But he also tells Mickey about it, who decides, he wants to the be the one to stab him. They race to him to make sure they stab him first, as they both want to end up in solitary and be the one who does the 'breaking up.'
Other than that, I enjoyed seeing Lip try to figure out how to be a father. He's had a terrible role model in Frank, but he's been a good father figure to most of the siblings, so I'm sure he can figure it out. Tami is still in the ICU and we don't know what's going on with her yet.
I do don't care about Carl and Liam trying to horn in on this vape business at Captain Bob's. It's so not interesting. Maybe it will become interesting, but it's certainly not now.
Debbie went to bring back some shoes, but the guy inspected them with a black light and told her they've been worn so he won't take them back. But he'll make an exception if she blows him. She sort of agrees, but while she's talking to him, he changes his mind and decides she can keep the shoes.
But, Mikey follows her back to the storage unit and threatened to eat all her receipts (so she can't return anything) unless she gives Frank some respect. The next day, she shows up with prepaid debit cards for everyone. They all get $100/week. And she tells Frank he can be the head of the house if he wants, as this job sucks. If she goes that route, she needs to take her money and split. It'll all be spent on drugs and booze by the end of the week.
