Felicity 4X17: The Graduate

Okay, I was very confused as to how this was going to go. Because it really felt like a season finale, but we've still got five more episode.

So, they teased with a Felicity and Ben break up. Again. And I fell for it. Again. Ugh. Why do they keep doing this to me? First, Ben proposes and Felicity accepts. Then, his son is born and Ben decides he has to go to Arizona to be near him. Felicity isn't thrilled about this, but sort of agrees. Then, after a conversation with her dad, she realizes that she's been chasing Ben for 4 years, and now, it's his turn to chase her. He tells her what's going on in his life is more important than hers, and they end up breaking up.

While all this is going on, Felicity manages to graduate with everyone, her art history professor being lenient with her plagiarism. Shortly before she graduates, she tells her parents about being engaged to Ben, and they are not thrilled. Later, her dad runs into Richard in the elevator and spills the beans about Ben being a father and them moving to Arizona.

We've also got Sean and Noel getting laid of from the company they are working at and decide to start their own firm. Noel rented an office which seems insane given that they don't have any clients or money coming in right now.

Then, we cut to six months later. Felicity is back in Palo Alto and is, are you ready for it, STUDYING TO BE A DOCTOR. Are you kidding me? After all the shit she went through to not have to be a doctor, we end up here? WTF. I kind of hate it.

However, one day on campus, she turns around and finds Ben behind her. He tells her he just signed up for classes here. She's was right. It's his turn to chase her. He even got Lauren and the baby to move here. So, now I guess they are back together? What the hell, show?

I don't know what we're in for in the last five episodes. Are we gonna jump time again? It feels like we should, right?
