You asked about the analogue interface thing, that’s Root, with her nifty new box. The Machine sends numbers to everyone else, but she talks directly to Root. And the pronouns thing, we know The Machine uses splices of people talking when it communicates, I always thought it probably used more feminine ones with Root because she’s so untrusting of men. And EVERYONE refers to “God” as “He,” so why shouldn’t the new one be a “She”
