Honestly, minus all the stuff happening at TRIC, I really enjoyed this episode.
I've been so into Brooke and Julian lately, and I LOVE this for her. I really think that Julian is perfect for her. I'm so happy for them. And I love her growth as a character so much. She and Nathan have had such amazing arcs. And so believable. Anyway, Julian is trying to get her to accomplish a bunch of things on her bucket list that she never had the time to do while she was busy running Clothes Over Bros. It's really sweet.
Nathan is going back to school. He's decided to take the harder professor because he actually want to learn the material. He and Jamie have a bunch of adorable scenes where they help each other study. His professor already hates him because he's sick of entitled athletes, but you just know that Nathan is gonna prove him wrong.
Meanwhile, Quinn takes off to see Dan, of all people. She's scared, and pissed about what happened with Katie and wants Dan to tell her how to kill someone. He obliges her, but also tries to warn her off. And it ends up working. On the way back to Tree Hill, she ends up stopping on a bridge and tossing her gun off it.
However, while Quinn has made this decision, we see Katie driving, happily, towards Tree Hill. I hate that this is set over a song I love so much. I don't think I was as upset as I should have been over this scene because I love The Black Keys so fucking much.
Back at Tric, we've got a bunch of music, and Mia and Alex competing for who the most popular 'celebrity bartender' is. They end up calling a truce for the night, so they can tease Chase, but Alex breaks it (unknown by Mia), and follows him to the stock room and kisses him. Bitch.
