The Vampire Diaries 2X18: The Last Dance

Okay, am I the only one who thinks someone would have noticed that Alaric was so not himself? Also, now that we know Klaus can inhabit other people, we need some kind of code or something, so we know that people are actually themselves.

So, we're all on the lookout for Klaus. However, we have no idea what he looks like, but we know he's going to be at the dance. We head over and figure we can just pick out the person we don't know. But, Elena claims she knows everyone who is there. Then, the DJ plays a song for Elena dedicated to her from Klaus, so we know he's nearby.

Unfortunately, Bonnie, who is our secret weapon, isn't so secret anymore. Klaus finds out lots of info about the plan to kill him while hanging out as Ric. Plus, he also knows that Bonnie will probably die if she tries to use her power on him, so they come up with a plan to basically have her kill herself.

Jeremy is pissed that Bonnie is willing to die to save Elena, and finally tells Stefan, who tells Elena. However, Damon and Bonnie both realize this is the only way and come up with a plan.

Ric lures Bonnie and Elena away by claiming something happening to Jeremy (I think), and it's finally revealed that he's actually Klaus in Alaric's body. Bonnie and Alaric fight for a bit, before Damon shows up and tells Elena to go get Stefan. (This is actually the part where Bonnie and Damon come up with their plan).

Bonnie and Klaus are fighting (well actually, he's not really fighting back, he's just waiting for her to kill herself by using all the power). Everyone is forced to watch and not help since Bonnie magically locked the door to keep them out. Eventually, she succumbs to the power and collapses. The door unlocks and everyone rushes in. Klaus is gone and Bonnie is 'dead.' Elena is distraught, and Damon tells Stefan to take her home, he'll deal with the body.

When Damon gets back, he tells Elena the truth, Bonnie is fine. She just put a spell on herself. They needed to make Klaus think that she was dead, so he would stop trying to kill her. But she and Jeremy are together and fine.

At the end of the episode, Elena sneaks down to the basement and pulls the knife out of Elijah. I guess this is her plan to Klaus? The enemy of my enemy is my friend? Okay, it could work, but I think you should tell people! This seems like a crazy thing to do on your own. He could kill you before you even get a word out Elena!
