Sons of Anarchy 2X8: Potlatch

Um, Chibs is married? And Gemma is afraid of his wife? Dude. How awful do you have to be for Gemma to be afraid of you?

So, the Chinese are back. They are asking to buy guns from SAMCRO because Zobelle is supplying guns to the Mayans and taking over a ton of territory. Case in point, Jax and some guys head over to talk to Laroy about it and find out that the Mayans are in his territory now.

They are basically held hostage (and of course, while Clay needs them to deal with some Aryan bullshit) and only let go when Bobby points out that if they killed the VP of the OG charter, every club would come after them. So, they decide not to kill Jax, but then he asks all fucking smug like he's winning this. Bitch, if you can't kill someone because a fuck ton of people will come after you, that's not a victory.

Oh, also, Luann has been robbed and they are sure it was Caruso, so afterwards, the guys head over there to show them who they are dealing with. They take back all the stuff he stole, and destroyed his own footage as retaliation. Caruso is on the floor basically being like, you're gonna pay for this. And I'm all like, how? Who the fuck are you? But then we find out that his payback was fucking beating Luann to death. WTF.

SAMCRO finds out that the IRA is also selling to Zobelle, so they attempt to thwart the handoff. But, with half the guys at gunpoint by the Mayans, it doesn't go super well. I think Clay manages to make off with a couple of guns, but nothing to speak of.

Later on, at Gemma's giant family dinner, everything goes wrong. Tara and Opie's pornstar girl exchange barbs, Gemma almost gets Tara fired, Hale shows up to tell them that Luann is dead, and all hell breaks loose after that. The entire club is out for blood with each other, and fucking Clay blames Jax. I'm not saying Jax has no part in this, but Clay is at least equally at fault here. How does he not see how him jumping in without all the facts to kill Opie leaves us here?

I honestly don't know if I want Opie to know the truth. Sure, he and Jax could be friends again, but he'd never be able to trust anyone again either. Ugh.
