Arrow 4X18: Eleven Fifty-Nine

There's zero chance that Laurel just dies in a random episode, right? I mean, we've got people coming back from the dead left and right on this show. However, someone does die. We know this for sure. I mean, it could be Laurel. But this seems like a weird time for her to die. I'm not buying it. At least not yet. Maybe this is all orchestrated for Darhk's benefit?

Anyway, turns out that Andy really is on Darhk's side and Oliver was right. Malcolm shows up to steal the statue thing for Darhk so he can get his powers back. Thea and Laurel try to fight him and some assassins he brought with him. Thea has him down and pinned, but can't bring herself to kill him. He escapes the idol. However, we find out that it's missing a piece, which John hid.

Later, after the prison riot, Darhk's got them held captive, and Andy walks over and calmly hands Darhk the missing piece of the skull. Now that he's got his powers back, he easily fights everyone off; flinging them around the room. However, he takes extra care with Laurel. He wants to send a message to Quintin that you don't double cross Damian Darhk. He stabs her in the gut with an arrow. It doesn't look great. She choking her blood and he's spilling out of her mouth. While Oliver rushes to her, Darhk escapes with a bunch of the inmates.

Oliver brings Laurel to the hospital. After surgery, they tell them that she's going to be fine. Lance is on the way over and all is right with the world. After everyone except Oliver clears out, Laurel tells him that he's the love of her life, but she knows she isn't his. His is Felicity and she really hopes they get back together. Oliver asks why she's telling him this. Then they have a conversation we can't hear (where they are planning her fake death?) and she ends up convulsing and dies on the table. Quintin shows up at this point, looks at Oliver, and seems to know immediately.

I just don't think I believe she's dead. It just seems like such an odd time to kill off her character. But what do I know? Also, if she really is dead, this is going to destroy Dig. If he had believed Oliver about Andy none of this would have happened. 100% not his fault. Andy and Darhk's fault, but you know this is gonna eat him up inside.
