Arrow 4X17: Beacon of Hope

So, I totally, 100% do not remember Bee Girl. At all. Should I? Did I watch that episode?

Anyway, some Bee Girl has decided that she's got to have Felicity's spine implant. Apparently, she's got a tumor on her spine and once it's cut out, she'll end up paralyzed. If she could get what Felicity has it will save her, but it's uber expensive. We might have said something like $900,000.

So to accomplish this goal, she has a bunch of killer bee robots attack everyone until Felicity gives her the blueprints to make her own. She tries to hold out as long as she can for Arrow and Co to show and help, but without Felicity to hack the bees, it's slow going. Thankfully, Curtis as shown up and is playing Felicity right now. However, he's not as good as she is (but way better than everyone else) and he's stymied at every turn. As soon as he fixes something, the bees adapt and he has to start over again.

Felicity manages to save all the members of the board (and her mom) but she and Thea stay behind to try to reason with Bee Girl. It doesn't go all that well and eventually, Felicity is forced to tell her where the blueprints for her spine implant are. But after she gets them, Curtis manages to take over the bees and programs them to attack Bee Girl, leaving her in the hospital with a coma.

While all this is happening, Darhk is in prison and pretty much immediately gets beaten up. But afterwards, he gets one of the guys on his side and that guy kills the other guys. Darhk has threatened his grandma, so I guess he's at Darhk's disposal now.

Later, Malcolm meets up with someone who is supposed to be Darhk's 'ace in the hole' and able to fix everything. We find out this is Andy. I'm sorry. What? Is this is an Arrow and Co plan? They are known for shit like this. I truly do not know what side Andy is on right now. Ahhh.

I hate the fact that Felicity doesn't want to come back and work with us. And that she's still refusing to come back to Oliver. It's not that I don't get it.l I do. But this is so not what I want to happen!

Also, this episode was just a lot of fun. Really. Killer robot bees? Felicity taking charge? Super enjoyable.
