Wildfire 2X13: Close Shave
Added 2024-10-16 16:00:15 +0000 UTCSo, as much as I've been bitching and complaining about Dani (and I still am gonna in this episode), I think she's right about what happens after she get controlling interest in the farm back.
Basically, Kris has freaked out Wildfire by feeling some kind of way about leaving Raintree and heading over to Europe for who knows how long. After the two of them sort of hash it out, I mean as much as you can with a horse, things seem to be better.
Kerry is promising Kris the world, if she wins the race. But I'm super skeptical of him. I feel like he could so easily become a possessive, aggressive, abusive, loser. But, honestly, I think Jean's concerns about Kris and Kerry were more on point than mine were.
Meanwhile, Dani is running around knowing that Jillian is sleeping with someone who isn't Matt, so she ends up giving her an ultimatum. Give me controlling interest in the farm, or I spill the beans to Matt. And since it seems like Jillian really does love Matt, she gives in. But this all comes AFTER Kris and Wildfire beat Tina Sharp and Ishmael at the Breeders Invitational. The Davis family bet a ton of their nonexistent money on their horse, so it's lucky that Dani is a scheming bitch.
Anyway, after the race, Junior confesses his feelings to Kris. He asks her not to go to Europe with Kerry. He says he loves her and he bought Baby Wildfire for her. I seems like she's going to agree, but then she gets a phone call from Kerry's office telling her that his plane went down near some mountains and that he's disappeared. I SWEAR when I said 'maybe his plane will crash' earlier, I was JOKING. I did not actually think this was going to happen!
