I watched the pilot last night on YouTube.
I'm often doing a random search to see if any reactor has come to their senses and started doing reactions to this amazing show. Instant patreon sub!
I also loved 24 back in the day, so I'm glad to hear that got 2nd place.
I'd love to see if that got picked up as well at some point.
I used to work in a VHS rental store in my youth. I always had the quiet shifts and had hours of uninterrupted time to marathon that show.
So I got paid to watch most of the first 4 seasons.

Fringe is definitely going to be a hard one to beat.

Fringe Pilot. A phenomenal beginning. Truly an amazing show.
Thank you for a great reaction. I can tell you really enjoyed this pilot episode.
Regarding the lens flare, please don't worry about it. This is pretty much the only episode it's used. I can't recall any other episode with that flare.
This series it is probably the only series closely resembling the X-Files, both in tone and in quality and chemistry between the actors. It also pays homage within its run to X-Files a lot.
Trust me this series starts episodic, but just like Person of Interest, by the end of season 1, the twists and overaching plot will be present and you will have the same feeling at the end of season 1 when Root showed up. Because at the end of season 1 of Fringe, similary to POI, you will end the season with a twist and an important new character introduction.
I love all the characters but especially Walter Bishop played by John Noble. You see glimpses in this episode of his phenomenal acting abilities and you know that his damaged mind hosts a lot of secrets yet to be uncovered. His character is one of those iconic characters you will remember forever. He doesn't get his chance to shine too much during the pilot, but trust me you will be blown away by how many times he will leave us in awe with his acting chops.
Then you have Olivia and Peter, you can already read their connection and they have an awesome back and forth this episode. You haven't mentioned but I hope you can already see the chemistry between Walter, Peter and Olivia.
Again and hope you don't mind me saying it again, this show will take heights you will not think possible, by just watching the Pilot. By Season 2 a overaching plot will take place and will remain there until the end of the show.
I really hope it will win because you will really love this show. I can already tell.
Thanks again for the reaction. Until next time...
