Sons of Anarchy 1X4: Patch Over

Dude, it took me way to long to figure out what patch over meant. Why wouldn't they tell me before, like, 2/3 of the way through!?

So, we've got another motorcycle club who is friendly with SOA. And they've agreed to let us store some guns on their property since we don't have any space. However, they are having an issue with the Mayans and are asking us for help in return. Jax sort of agrees, but tells them that Clay is on his way up. They all seem to realize that this means a patch over is coming.

Clay gets there and he makes a speech and then SAMCRO goes outside to wait while they vote whether or not they want to be in SOA. We've got a couple of deserters, but mostly everyone falls in line. Now we have a giant patch over party. Huzzah! Now, I like my booze. A lot. But this does not seem like my kind of party. I like a party where I can remember what happened the next day. 🤣

Anyway, Jax is concerned that when they leave, the Mayans will hit the new chapter as they are vulnerable. Clay says it's fine. So, Jax heads over to a bar (?) where all the Mayans are and lures them back to the after party. This way, the new club will have reinforcements. There's a bit of a shootout, and while some people are hit, I think everyone survives. Clay knows exactly what Jax did though. And he's not thrilled about it.

Also, Bobby tells Jax point blank, that everyone has noticed that he's openly disagreeing with Clay. And it might be a good idea to figure his shit out, because it's not gonna go unchecked forever.

Meanwhile, Tara starts to get nervous about shit left on her car, and starts carrying a gun around on her. Gemma finds out and starts to ask questions. Eventually, she gives Tara a gun with no serial number as it's safer. I think ex boyfriend, currently ATF dude, is the one that send her pictures of Jax with that girl. I'm not entirely sure what this dude's MO is, but it's definitely to try to make her life miserable.
