Um, I kind of really hate this plot with Pablo. He's been gone so much. Now, he's finally back and we get mobsters? No. I don't like it. This dude is so not intimidating. I kind of want to giggle every time he's in a scene. This is so not working for me. Although, I am curious as to how Pablo got mixed up with these guys in the first place.
In other news, Pete is totally trying to weasel his way back into Jean's life. But, Jean was so ready to sleep with him, that I can't really blame him for this. She was 100% a willing participant, even if she claimed it was a bad idea after. (And it is. You're in a relationship with Charlie! What are you doing Jean?)
The club is slowly coming back together with the $60k from Isabelle. It looks like Junior is with Rebecca, but I feel like if Kris told him she wanted him back, he'd drop her in a hot second. Also, Isabelle is super shady, stealing the note Ken left for Junior about wanting to reconnect. Why does she care? She barely knows Junior. I guess she does know Ken though, but still!
Matt is pissed because Pablo is taking credit for him diagnosing mobster's horse with uneven hips. Matt doesn't realize what's going on (because Pablo has only confided in Kris) and that's sort of the last straw. Dani had offered him a full time job training her horses, and he decides he wants to take it. That said, I don't really fault him for this. He talked to Jean about it and she told him he wasn't ready (plus, they've already got Pablo). If Dani is willing to pay him to do a job he's already doing and not gettin paid for, how is he supposed to say no? However, Jean is pissed when he tells her.
And mob guy is trying to get in close with the Ritters. Again, I HATE this storyline. I sort of get the mobsters and gambling go together, but this just doesn't work together on this show. Where are my happy, wholesome vibes?
