True Blood 3X7: Hitting the Ground

I am still utterly confused about what's going on. Every episode I'm more upset that I can't figure out what is going on. This was a hit show. A zillion people watched it. Why am I stupider than all of the people?!

So here's what I can gather:

Sookie stakes and kills Lorena or was on top of Bill. There is a volcano of blood and she turns into a giant pile of goo. However, Bill is gravely injured, he's alive, but that's about it. Sookie gets Tara and werewolf guy to help her move him, but they get accosted by werewolf guy's ex who is threatening to shoot them. Werewolf guy ends up locking her in the room, and the three of them escape.

Sookie and Bill ride the back of the van, and when Sookie has tried everything else, she finally cuts her arm and gets Bill to drink her blood. It works and he's starting to get better. However, he immediately turns on her and viciously starts to drink from her neck. When Tara finds out, she kicks him out into the sunlight (and it takes a LONG time for him to start to smoke). They bring Sookie to the hospital and find out she's in a coma because she lost too much blood. But the can't give her a blood transfusion because she doesn't have a blood type. Eventually, Bill shows up and Jason allows him to give Sookie some of his blood to heal faster. She wakes up and sees Bill and screams.

However, while she's in a come she has some crazy fever dream. I don't what the hell was going on there, but they were all like, don't go back into the dark. And it got all dark with Bill showed up. Okay.

Eric shows up at Sophie Anne's and tries to force her to tell him what she knows about Sookie. She refuses, so he drains one of her humans instead. However, it's the one that's Sookie's cousin, and right before she dies, she tells Eric what she knows (which, of course, we don't get to hear). He then gives her some of his blood to revive her. What the hell could they all know about Sookie that she doesn't know?

I don't have any idea what's going on with all the Russell/Sophie Anne stuff. So she's agreed to marry him to get her out of her tax issues. Fine. But why is he so desperate to marry her? She hates him. I'm guessing this is a power thing of some kind?

 Every week I watch this show, and every week I feel like an idiot. 🤣
