After the recap, I thought this was going to be all romance all the time this episode. And while we did get some, it was so much more than that. I really enjoyed this episode.
So, Jean and Charlie go out of town leaving Matt and Kris to take care of things. She really didn't want to but they talked her into it. Almost as soon as they leave, Dani shows up and begs Matt to go look at a horse for her. She's sure it's perfect, her dad thinks she's gonna get ripped off, and she needs to buy this horse now as there are other buys. (And she's jetting off to Florida). Matt tries to tell her he can't, but she won't take 'no' for an answer.
This leaves Kris alone to take care of the farm. And of course, everything goes wrong. The horse stall flood, the bales of hay get delivered to the wrong spot, the workers call in sick. It's just too much for her to handle alone, so she calls Junior for help. He tries to tell her 'no' as well, but she begs him and eventually he shows up.
After the take care of all the chores, they end up back in her trailer having sex. During which, she hears Wildfire whinnying, but ignores it. In the morning, she tells Junior that it was a mistake. He leaves and she heads over to Wildfire, who is missing. She calls Junior back and he reluctantly agrees to come back and help look for him. Eventually, they find him hanging out with this other horse who is aggressive, so they need to get Wildfire away from her. They manage to do that, at all appears well.
Matt, meanwhile, goes to see the horse, and agrees with Dani. It's a great horse. However, when he goes to do the paperwork, they pull a bait and switch, and Matt gets the wrong horse. Once he realizes it, he luckily, runs into the guy who happens to have the correct horse in the trailer, and switches them out while he's buying a saddle.
Later, when Jean and Charlie come home, they send the aggressive horse off to breed with a horse at another farm. Which is when they realize she's already pregnant. Making us assume that Wildfire got her pregnant during his escape.
