I'm seriously upset with Eddie. First of all, this is completely normal behavior from Bobby. We've see it after anyone has gotten hurt and wants to come back. Plus, he had the gaul to throw that body count in Bobby's face. I've never been so pissed off at him. I get he's struggling right now, but that's no excuse to treat Bobby like shit.
And speaking of struggling, he really is. He looks awful, he's not sleeping, he's miserable. So much so that Christopher, a literally child, noticed it and was like dad, you need to go back to being a firefighter. Because from his POV that's when his dad changed. But either way, the man needs help. I don't know why he's so anti therapy, but talking to someone is probably a good idea for him right now.
Either way, we spend this episode talking about how Bobby has to replace both Eddie and Chim. Eddie, I get. But I thought we all knew Chim was coming back. What happens when he does? Do we get rid of Jonah? Or can we just transfer him somewhere else? (Even though everyone wants to work at 118). Also, I think for how Hen has been treating him, he's been very respectful to her. If we have to keep him for awhile, I won't be overly upset, I don't think.
However, I'm so not into Buck's blond firefighter. There is something jarring about her. Plus, I hate when people act stupid and tell you they're just doing it because it's fun for them to watch you be uncomfortable. Fuck that. Anyway, she and Buck end up the last ones in a night of drinking. And after flirting with him pretty heavily, she ends up kissing him and he kisses back. Hen convinces him to tell Taylor, but he chickens out and ask her to move in with him instead. Then, we find out that blonde firefighter is joining the team to replace Eddie. Which basically makes her Buck's partner.
