Wildfire 2X2: Opportunity Knocks

So, Kris ends up doing this commercial for hot sauce. When she booked the job, she didn't think it was going to work because Wildfire wasn't able to travel (the farm is under quarantine) and she refused to do the job with another horse. (Also, I love her answer of 'I don't really think about hot sauce at all,' 🤣). But, they want her for the part so much, that they end up moving the location to the farm, which means, Raintree also gets paid for the location, which really helps, as this farm is always broke.

When they are actually shooting the commercial though, no on informed Kris that she had to passionately make out with a guy. She's too uncomfortable and is unable to do. The director ends up letting her kiss Junior instead and they get a little carried away and decide that maybe they are going to get back together. However, later, when she up to his place (late, because she was going over her contract with her agent), Junior's mom is there and Kris sees her through the window and sort of scares Kris off.

Pete is back to trying to weasel his way into Jean's life. It's really starting to upset Charlie, but he's trying to be as cool about it as he can. And apparently, he's also opening a bar with Junior? That seems incredibly random, but Junior lost the lease on his party spot because he didn't pay and he destroyed it. So Pete bought it and now he and Junior are working together on it. Okay.

Dani is trying to figure out why the horse she bought isn't running very well. (And apparently traded a $30,000 horse for it). She figures out that it's lonely because it's seperated from the horse it grew up with. And now she's asking her dad for another $12,000 to buy the other horse as well. And first he says no, but then he says they can talk him to less money. I don't know. Maybe Dani does have a knack for this.
