Shameless 7X10: Ride or Die

Dude. Ian is really about to blow up his entire life for Mickey. Love makes you do some crazy things, I guess. But running off to Mexico with a guy who is a prison escapee and leaving a really loving guy seems insane.

But anyway, Fiona is doing pretty well at the laundromat. Happy hour is a hit, and it's going pretty well. But then Fiona's sort of boss, shows up at Patsy's and tells her she wants to buy the laundromat. Fiona tells her no. And she ups her price by 10 grand. She leaves Fiona to think about it. After doing the math, she realizes it will take her years to make that much in profit and seriously considers it. Eventually, she's offered double what she paid and Fiona takes the deal, even though it means putting Etta in a home.

Kevin and V find out that Svetlana tricked them into signing over the Alibi to her by having them sign what they thought were the adoption papers for the kids. Which now means, that the kids are theirs, but the bar is not. And Svetlana cannot seem to understand why they are upset about this. She thinks that because she manages the bar better, she should get to be the owner. It doesn't work like that! Kevin comes home and finds that V is tossing all of Svetlana's stuff out the window and is ready to light it on fire.

Frank and Monica spend this episode trying to rob various places so that Monica can have some money to leave to the kids when she's dies. They also end up getting Neil involved, which Debbie is not happy about. I didn't really care that much about this storyline.

Lip is continuing to spiral. He's drinking pretty much all day, everyday. He wakes up disoriented, and surrounded by glass to find that he broke into Helene's house. She tells him to get his shit together, and not long after goes to a meeting. (While finishing his beer before heading inside).

And then we have Ian. He just can't keep away from Mickey. They meet up a couple of times and have sex. And Mickey tells him he's heading to Mexico and asks Ian to come with him. Initally, Ian says no, but when they meetup for their last good buy, Ian changes his mind and gets in the car. Ian is the only person who is living a somewhat normal life right now. And he's about to throw it all away for Mickey Milkovich. I mean, of all the guys. This one? Come on, Ian. I know the heart wants what it wants and all that shit, but sometimes you have to use your head instead of your heart. I'm hoping Mickey ends up back in jail before Ian actually leaves with him. I guess that's the best I can hope for right now.
