Arrow 3X23: My Name is Oliver Queen

Okay, first of all, this may have been the fastest episode of TV I've ever seen. I was like, why are they rushing through all this, it just started. And then it was over. Lol.

So, of course, there was a plan. I knew there had to be, but Malcolm secretly vaccinating everyone from the virus before they ended up in that cell, is not one I would have guessed. And, while they're happy they aren't dead, they are still trapped in the cell and chained up. But look! It's the Flash to the rescue! He zooms around, ropes up all the guards, and frees them. They ask him for more help with Oliver, but he claims he needs to have a conversation with someone and leaves. (I'm guessing if I watched the Flash, I would know what he was talking about).

While this is happening, Ra's, Oliver, Nyssa, and a bunch of league people, are on a plane with the virus on the way to Starling City to destroy it. Eventually, the plane loses it's engine power and the pilot tells Ra's they've been sabotaged. He immediately blames Nyssa, but Oliver takes responsibility. Then we fight! We throw all the league guys out of the plane. During this, Ra's grabs a parachute and the virus and jumps. Once all the guys are gone, Oliver crash lands the plane.

Ra's tells Oliver that he's got four vessels for the virus and that Oliver won't be able to get to them all in time. By this time the team is back together (we're putting our issues aside for the moment) and Felicity finds the targets. Turns out they are people who are infected with the virus and when their infected blood hits the air, the virus goes airborne. So now we're racing around trying to knock people out and put them in solitary. Also, around this time, Thea shows up in Roy's suit and she's finally part of the team!

As this is going on, Ra's tells Oliver to come fight him on the dam. The police are ready to shoot to kill and Quintin can't stop them so he calls Felicity. She asks Ray to use his ATOM suit to help, but he's busy trying to figure out how to get a cure out to the people. After Oliver kills Ra's (Huzzah!) he's shot and falls off the dam. But surprise! The ATOM suit shows up to save him (plus he's wearing league armor so he didn't really got shot) and it's Felicity!

Once it's all over, Oliver decides to retire and just spend his time being happy with Felicity. (I swear to fucking god, if they come back in S4 and I find they've already broken up and I didn't get to see any of the happiness, I'm gonna lose it). He's got other people who can help save the city now. However, John isn't sure he's ready to forgive Oliver for his fake betrayal (and, you know, kidnapping his wife) and needs to take some time to decide if he wants to come back to the team.

And in the twist I really did not see, Oliver passed the baton to Malcolm to become the next Ra's. And Nyssa is kneeling before him. I mean, she's pissed about it, but she's going along with it. I have no idea what that means for next season. I mean, I know he and Oliver planned this, but nothing good can come from Malcolm being, Ra's. Hell, nothing good can come from Malcolm being alive.

Oh, yeah, and Ray totally blew up the building trying to make a miniature version of his super suit. Do we think he's alive?

Fuck, you guys. This season was so much fun! I'm afraid that S4 can't help but be a letdown after this.
