Okay, so, I watched this episode probably 5 days ago. And I'm trying to remember it to do a description now. It's not going well. Eek! I really need to do these when I watch them. Especially since Wildfire doesn't really have recaps on Wikipedia. 😳
So, we had two separate storylines this episode. The good one: Kris, Matt, Junior, and Dani chasing after escaped horses, and the not so good one: Jean and Charlie continuously getting interrupted while they try to have some alone time.
I really, really hated that Pete (I think that was his name) is sort of trying to weasel his way back into our lives. We're doing just fine without you, thanks so much. I'm glad it seems like he'll be staying away for the near future.
Anyway, on to the important part. A bunch of wild horses storm through the farm causing chaos. Houdini (I think) lets all the horses free and they follow after the stampede. Four (I think) of the horses escape, but two return pretty much immediately. And so, we're left with Wildfire and Houdini on the lamb.
The foursome tries to get the horses back, while getting to know each other better. Eventually, some secrets gets spilled, but they weren't really that juicy.
The important part, they run into Wildfire who leads them to a dead Houdini. Fuck. Since when do I get so emotional about horses I've never met. This was super sad. I mean, we've met Houdini once, I think. Why was I blubbering? Someone tell me. This show just has a way of pulling on my heartstrings, man.
