Arrow 3X20: The Fallen

So, Thea is basically dead. And Ra's finally has the leverage he needs to get Oliver to be his heir. Take my place and I'll restore Thea to full health. Of course Thea is being kept alive via life support machines and doesn't know anything about any of this.

Felicity and Dig try to talk him out of it, but he won't be swayed. Eventually, Felicity says she's going with him since someone needs to bring Thea home. In the end, Oliver, Felicity, Dig, Malcolm, and an unconscious Thea, head to Nanda Parbat.

After being unable to come up with a plan to get him out of there, a seriously pissed off Felicity marches out to give Ra's a piece of her mind. He tells her not to let these last moments slip away because she's angry and to tell Oliver anything she needs to so she doesn't regret it later. She goes back and tells him she loves him. They have sex, and then afterwards, she drugs him.

Using Malcolm (and eventually, Maseo, surprise!) they almost manage to get Oliver out, but eventually, they end up surrounded. Oliver wakes up and tells them he's the next Ra's and to let the people pass; he'll be right back. He walks the team to the jet and says his goodbyes.

Thea wakes up at home confused. Malcolm fills her in on what happened and she's devastated that Oliver traded his life for hers.

Meanwhile, back in Nanda Parbat, Oliver is told that he must cleanse himself of Oliver Queen in order to be the next Ra's. He's given a brand (you know, to match the other zillion scars he's got), and told his journey to becoming the next Ra's has begun.

I'm sorry. I hate all of this. (In best way. The story is great, I just hate that we can't figure out how to get Oliver out of this). I'm guessing that the finale will be them figuring it out, but that means at least two more episodes of this. Ugh. And what if they can't figure it out? What is the show gonna look like? Felicity and Dig can't run this operation alone.
