Wildfire 1X1: Pilot
Added 2024-08-19 16:00:19 +0000 UTCSo, this was pretty great. It was an ABC Family show, which I feel means it shouldn't have been as good as it was. I enjoyed the hell out of this.
Are we setting this up for Kris to start training Wildfire at the farm? And then he'll win some race and she'll save the farm from being sold to corporate America? (Don't tell me).
Um, we're totally in on curly boy, not car driving boy. But I can already see the love triangles forming. Also, those girls need to start being nice to Kris. I have a feeling that once they find out she was in juvie jail, they are gonna be much worse to her.
Also, how are we feeling about the lady who owns the farm? I know she was skeptical of Kris originally, but then after she met her, she seemed better about her. Maybe even a little sympathetic. I know she's got other stuff going on right now, but I really want her and Kris to have a good relationship. I know she's got Pablo, but he seems more of a big brother type.
Side note: Genevieve Cortese is utterly adorable. I'm already concerned I'm gonna be veering into Keri Russel territory here and getting distracted by looking at her face. Lol.

I was so surprised where it stopped. I guess the pilot was a 2 parter and I never realized lol. It's always so fun to watch a pilot with someone knowing where all the characters go lol. I'm going to refrain from commenting though until you see part 2 of the pilot. curly boy - Matt Matt's mom - Jean Ritter car boy - Kenny "Junior" Davis Junior's dad/Jean's boyfriend/guy trying to buy raintree - Ken Davis Junior's sister - Dani Davis Rude friend - Amber Just as a warning cause there's not an explanation - they're all supposed to be like finishing up high school/going to college (hence the references to juvi and high school and thinking about college etc.) but the show kinda drops that aspect very quickly and it's more of a late teens/early 20s vibe rather than your typical high school teen show. The show just kinda shifts that way and never really explains so just wanted to give you a warning that you didn't miss anything, it's the show lol.
