9-1-1 4X8: Breaking Point
Added 2024-08-14 19:00:05 +0000 UTCSomething about this episode felt off, but I couldn't figure out what. I'm sure it was just me, but I couldn't stop looking for the source of whatever it was.
I don't care what news lady says, Buck is a good friend. Just ask Christopher, he'll tell you! And speaking of Christopher, he totally loses it (well for mild mannered Christopher anyway) when Eddie tells him he's started dating again. He knocks a salad bowl to the floor, steals Eddie's phone and calls and Uber to take him to Buck's house.
Later, when he finds out the woman Eddie is dating is his old teacher, he's thrilled, but warns Eddie that she's a tough grader. Love it.
Maddie is worried about her and Chim being separated while she's giving birth and decides that they should have the baby at home. After all, she's a former nurse and he's a paramedic. Chim tries to go along with it, but he's too concerned about how long it will take them to get to the hospital if something goes wrong. Seeing how worried he Maddie says it's fine, and she'll have the baby in the hospital.
I think this whole situation with Albert and Buck's 90 minute tops date, is a little ridiculous. There is no reason for things to be this awkward. She and Buck didn't date. One dinner is not dating. No reason to feel awkward after that. But maybe it's just me. But since she and Albert have since broken up, I guess it's a moot point anyway.

Yeah, this was not fun to watch. Why Buck even gives her the time of day after what she did is beyond me. Glad to see I'm not the only one who is still mad at her. Apparently, I don't forgive and forget as easily as our characters. Lol.

2024-08-17 15:30:51 +0000 UTCfinally making myself watch this episode because i really didn’t want to have to deal with taylor kelly again. you aren’t the only one holding a grudge, i have never been able to move on from her trying to air bobby’s relapse and suicide attempt. we never got an apology and her crying on tv doesn’t magically change things. i still don’t understand what buck saw in her. they’re so different and their morals don’t align at all. she’s my least favorite love interest and it sucks because she’s the only one who isn’t some one dimensional background character they don’t bother to write for but i just can’t like her. not even a little bit.

2024-08-17 01:43:55 +0000 UTCi haven’t watched yet but you’re not alone. this was the mid-season finale and it didn’t feel like one and most people dislike the episode. the next one is much better. fun fact i started binge watching this show during the hiatus between this episode and 4x09.
