We could have skipped everything at Fraser's Ridge. Seriously. I don't care about locusts. I don't care about Roger being respected now. I care about Jamie and Claire. Thank you.
Jocasta is getting married. To that really dull guy. Murtaugh shows up the night before the wedding and asks her to wait for him to get pardoned (or whatever he thinks is gonna happen that he won't be a wanted man anymore). It seems like she really wanted to, but ultimately, turned him away.
Before the wedding, Jocasta signs away ownership of River Run to Jemmy. And fucking Bonnet now thinks it's his, because he thinks Jemmy is his. There are no paternity tests in 1775 (or whatever year this is), so will any of that matter? Or even more pressing, will any of it matter when Jamie kills him?
Fucking Wiley (that's his name, right?). He went from annoying, to creepy, to assaulter, real fast. So Claire threw him in a pile of horseshit, and Jamie threatened to kill him. But oops, we still need him on our side so we can get that meeting with Bonnet.
Luckily, Jamie is smart and manages to pull it off. And manages to get Claire to forgive him for gambling with Frank's wedding ring. But not before she gets a good slap in on him and they have some angry sex.
We are about halfway through this season, and I'm not sure what the end game is setting up to be here. I wonder if it's the fire. Or is that too soon? Hmmm.
