The Vampire Diaries 1X8: 162 Candles
Added 2024-08-01 18:00:08 +0000 UTCUgh. I think I would have liked Lexi as a character. It's annoyed that they killed her off immediately. I mean, it totally works to make Damon the villain, but I loved how she made Stefan happy. He seems to think that Elena will make him happy, but he doesn't really seem happy when he's around her. He totally seemed happy when he was with Lexi. I'm hoping that Lexi's conversation with Elena will end up working to get the two of them together. But now, Stefan is the one who want to stay away as opposed to Elena.
So Damon had a plan to kill her to cover up the fact that he had done all the vampire related activity. I hate this. For several reasons. Why did they assume it was Lexi and not Damon? Is this the plan he claimed to have to Lexi or does he have another reason for being in Mystic Falls? Does it involve Bonnie? I'm kind of annoyed that Stefan didn't just haul off and kill him when he staked him, but I know that would sort of be the end of the show. But logically, god this dude needs to die.
Speaking of Bonnie, what is going on with her? She a witch, yes, but what is going on at the end of this episode? It clearly started out as a dream because we saw her in bed, but ultimately she ended up waking up in a graveyard. And by (I think) a Salvatore mausoleum. Maybe my thought about a family rivalry is right!
What did Damon do to Jeremy? Why is he acting like a completely different person? What does it mean when you are compelled to believe something? I love that there are still so many questions about vampires in this universe!
