Arrow 3X7: Draw Back Your Bow
Added 2024-07-31 23:25:36 +0000 UTCOkay, so neither Oliver or Roy are doing particularly well right now. But, of course, neither of them are willing to admit it or ask for help.
Oliver is upset because he thinks Felicity is dating Ray (which, yes, is upsetting, but if you tell her the two of you can't date, you can't be upset when she dates someone else). Roy is still struggling with the fact that he killed someone, even if it was under the influence of Mirakuru.
So our villain of the week, is a continuation of the archer lady who killed Issac and is attempting to draw out Oliver, as she's obsessed with him because he saved her during Slade's army attack last season. She's completely unhinged, and Oliver tells her he can never be with anyone. Felicity hears this and is sort of devastated. She ends up kissing Ray. And of course, Oliver sees when he comes to tell her how he feels. Ugh. So frustrating! Why is TV always like this?
Anyway, eventually he captures her and ends up giving her to ARGUS to be part of their Suicide Squad.
Thea reopens the club and ends up kissing the DJ?!? No thank you. She's reserved for Roy. I called a long time ago. What is with all the kissing I don't want this episode? Boo.
I have no idea what Ray is up to. He's definitely being sketchy. Last time we saw him with weapons blueprints, now he's got some kind of hologram robot. I'm sure neither of these are wholesome.

Yes, there are only Arrow spoilers in the crossovers if you're not watching Arrow, so there's no Arrow spoilers for you Dana. Now as far as the other shows Idk. But really next season is still the Flash, so it's not something you have to worry about any time soon.

2024-08-03 02:22:19 +0000 UTCThey were just talking about watching the other parts of the crossovers because they contain major Arrow plot points for things you will already know about. For instance we did get a few things in this crossover on the Flash part that was relevant to Arrow storylines, like Sara's murderer's DNA test and Oliver running into Samantha, but if you're not familiar with those characters then you really wouldn't know the importance of it. Instead of showing it on the Arrow epi they showed it on the Flash one. If you didn't see the Flash epi you would have missed it. But really they would probably show it to you in a recap at some point. Arrow/Oliver is usually the focus of these crossovers since they started the Arrowverse, but since you're already watching Arrow you won't be spoiled for Arrow. Only if you're only watching one of the other shows and not Arrow.

And, having watched Arrow 3X8 today, I can confirm, I would have been very confused if I hadn't have watched that Flash episode. Ooh, I didn't realize there would be Arrow spoilers. Thank you for pointing that out. I appreciate it. Since I just realized this now, I'm not sure how exactly to handle it going forward (plus, I don't know how many seasons of this are going to get sponsored), but maybe I'll just crowdsource for the info I need? But I'm totally open to suggestions.

For the rest of the show, every 8th episode is a crossover with the flash or the other superhero shows that started airing on the network as part of the Arrowverse. Since you aren't watching the other shows (which is fine since i don't think any are as good as arrow) you might be slightly confused what is happening since the episode is actually the second part of the crossover so the first part is on an episode of the flash. But it shouldn't be too confusing I hope. though for future seasons you may need to discuss or do a poll on how to handle those since you kind of need to see the other show's episode parts for the crossover to make sense and it will contain some major arrow plot points in the future.
