This was such a good episode. But I feel like all these episodes are good.
We just knew that Claire would love living this way. And Jamie looks so happy to be able to build (quite literally) a life for Claire. Especially after last episode when he admitted that he didn't have anything to offer her.
Nights were scary though! First we thought the Cherokee were attacking, then we were convinced it was bear. It turns out, it was both. A banished Cherokee was running around crazed in a bear outfit. Jamie kills him and takes him to the Cherokee as an offering.
I love that we came to a peaceful agreement with the Cherokee. They both want the same thing. To just live in harmony without bloodshed.
Meanwhile, in 1971, Roger finds out that Claire and Jaimie were reunited and established Fraser Ridge. He tells Brianna and she decides to go to Scotland to see her mother. OMG. I really, really wanna see Briana and Jamie together. I really hope that ends up actually happening.
However, after she leaves, Roger finds out that they died in a fire from an obituary they found from the last 1770s. The date is smudged so we don't know exactly when. This feels very reminiscent to us knowing they lost in Culloden and just having to wait and watch it unfold. There's go to be more to this, right?
