I kind of love the opening of this episode. I love getting to see what everyone thinks about first thing in the morning.
We are getting some follow up from last episode. Haley shows up at Peyton's office and asks if she'll manage her, Nathan tries to go back to the gym, Brooke ends up hosting a baby who's here for surgery. You knew it was gonna be much easier for Haley to get back into music than Nathan for basketball and we see that clearly in this episode.
Quintin is being horribly disrespectful in this episode. Good on Skills for not making it into a bigger thing, but that was kind of fucked up. Also, I'm totally on Skills' side here. He's really just making sure that Q can play for a long time. Not just the next month or so.
Brooke is offering Millicent a promotion and raise, but she says that means she has to move back to New York, which she doesn't want to do. But then, she immediately finds out she's getting the baby and tells Milly she needs her stay. However, Mouth finds out he got offered a job in Omaha and is considering taking it, but doesn't wanna leave Milly. He decides to stay and they move in together.
It looks like Brooke and the bartender are breaking up. He doesn't wanna be with a 22-year-old who wants to be a mom (which I think is understandable). He wasn't even gonna tell her though. Chase showed up to tell her that he was basically just gonna ghost her. But her excitement, and genuine love for getting to help his baby was beautiful.
Is Deb back? Is she actually the new nanny? Or is this just a temporary thing until Haley feels better about leaving Jamie and they find someone more permanent? (Don't tell me.)
Also, I have a lot of confusing thoughts about Dan.
