Don't hate me. I think this might be my least favorite episode. Which surprised me, because I'm generally a pretty big fan of bottle episodes.
However, I hated Peyton in this episode. And, as someone who is just flat out rooting for Peyton, it sucks to see her act like this. I get that she is hurting, but none of this shit is Lindsay's fault (and I don't really like Lindsay). She's just a girl who fell in love with a guy; despite the fact that she edited a book about how much he'd always love his ex.
I really wanted to see the basketball game, but we were stuck in the damn library the whole time and missed it completely. But (at least according to Mouth) maybe that was the point. The least interesting story is who won, which I assume is why they saved the reveal for last.
Also, why does Mia wanna hang out with Peyton so badly? I'm totally confused about why she's hanging on her every word and action. I mean, I like Peyton, this is well established, but it's very rare that I wanna hang out with my boss and learn their high school history.
We got a Tim sighting! I 100% didn't realize him and forgot he existed. Oops.
So, Nathan has decided to tell Haley about the kiss with bitch Carrie. I don't know if this is the right decision, but I know he thinks it is, so I'll support it.
Plus, I was wrong. That isn't the ring that Luke got for Peyton. It's the one that Keith got for Karen. That's gotta be a hard pill for Peyton to swallow, knowing all the backstory there. While it seems like he and Lindsay are friendly enough right now, I wonder if, at some point, Lindsay will end up finding out that Luke and Peyton kissed on the night he proposed.
